Prismatic is the latest addition to Destiny 2, and like all other subclasses, it comes with its own set of unique Fragments with various effects. However, as Prismatic is representative of many different subclasses, it does steal the properties of other elements' Fragments. Here, we'll look at what each one does with some quick notes on how to obtain them.
Starter Prismatic Fragments

These Fragments are all 'Starter' Fragments, meaning that you will have these available to you as soon as you unlock Prismatic. Thankfully, these are all some pretty powerful Fragments, but there are other options that can enrich your builds and make truly make Prismatic shine.

Facet of Bravery, Devotion, and Sacrifice are all found in the three final missions of The Final Shape Campaign, in the 'Ascent', 'Dissent', and 'Iconoclasm' missions, respectively.
- The Facet of Bravery can be located by climbing the mountain at the start of the Ascent mission until you come across a plane wreckage. Look for the nose of the wrecked plane instead of going directly through, and you should see some more wreckage containing a chest with a Facet of Bravery.
- Within the Dissent mission, you will find the Facet of Devotion Fragment hidden in the tense escape sequence. Upon entering the room with all the pillars, continue dead ahead. Behind a pillar near the back wall there should be a chest containing the Facet of Devotion Fragment.
- The Facet of Sacrifice comes from the Iconoclasm mission and can be found near the War Beast statue. Instead of heading right to the final area, take a left instead into a dark room, and look up to the right. There will be a light you will be able to see, allowing you to jump to through the hole in the wall, leading to the Facet of Sacrifice chest.
Discoverable Prismatic Fragments

Located in The Divide, keep making your way through the area until you happen across the Prismatic Chest. Jump through one of the holes in the wall to summon a Scorch Cannon to destroy the white icy rocks. Use the elemental orbs from these clusters to charge the power machines to unlock the Fragment.

| Firesprite: A luminous concentration of Solar energy. When picked up, Firesprites grant grenade energy. When picked up, Void Breaches grant class ability energy.Stasis Shard: A small shard of Stasis matter that can be collected to restore melee energy.Tangle: A knot of Strand matter, swirling with potential. The Facet of Awakening comes from the Memory: Refractions of Light consumable, which comes from vestiges obtained through the six Cyst missions available from Micah-10. The Fragment can be found among some tree branches in The Refraction.
Facet of Solitude |

Facet of Solitude comes from collecting five of the rare versions of Darkness memories. Memory: Impassive Darkness will bring you to Facet of Solitude, found in the north-east corner of The Impasse near a ledge.
Facet of Defiance |

| Finishers create a detonation that either jolts, scorches, slows, severs, or makes targets volatile based on the damage type of your equipped Super. +10 Recovery. |
| Scorch: The target is signed by destructive Solar Light, taking damage over time. Scorch damage increases as the target accumulates more Scorch stacks. After enough Scorch stacks are applied to the target, they ignite. Jolted: The target is energized with destructive Arc Light. They take additional damage when jolted and chain lightning to nearby targets. Jolt damage causes Overload Champions to be stunned. Volatile: The target is afflicted with unstable energy and will explode upon taking additional damage. Volatile Rounds from your Void weapons pierce the shields of Barrier Champions and Stun them. Slow: The target has slowed movement and ability regeneration; their weapon performance is reduced. Slowed combatants have difficulty firing accurately and Overload Champions are stunned. After accumulating enough Slow stacks, the target is frozen. Sever: The target’s connections to the world around them are cut, and their outgoing damage is significantly reduced. Severed targets unwind into a Tangle when defeated. |
Head to the Transgression and find a statue of an impaled man. Once found, turn left into the cave. Make your way through the poisoned cave and interact with the pyramid item. Upon doing this, you will have to defeat certain shielded enemies by destroying a number of eyes in the cave. Once complete, defeat the tormentor boss and use the key to open the Prismatic Chest.
Facet of Dominance |

Like the Facet of Awakening, Facet of Dominance comes from another Memory of Light quest, Memory: Seclusion to be precise. Head to the Seclusion and find Zavala's old house. The chest can be found above the waterfall behind his house.

Enter the combat area of The Lost City, and keep moving to the Outskirts zone. Here, you will have to locate four lost ghosts. Once located, you can defeat the boss that spawns and activate the plate to unlock the Prismatic Chest.

Head past Micah-10 into the combat zone of The Lost City, and make a right after entering the courtyard. Defeating the Gordian Weaver will spawn 'omens'. Defeat these enemies throughout the courtyard to unlock the Facet of Grace.

Head to the Refraction and find the Awoken, Dreaming City-style room with crystals. Dunk all three heavy Solar Crystals in the correct spots to spawn a boss which will drop a key that lets you open the Prismatic Chest.

The Facet of Honor comes from the Memory: Divisive Darkness consumable. Head to the Divide towards the large circle that appears on your map and start hunting in this area. Head to the peak of the wall and descend the icy cliff that overlooks a tower.
