  1. I really liked the taste of the gravy with the chicken. I served it w/egg noodles and it was a delicious combo. This is great comfort food to me and easy to put together. Thanks!

  2. I thought this was very good. I loved the sauce! Next time I will reduce the cooking time, since an hour and a half was a bit too long for my oven. Will make again. Thank you for sharing.

  3. Awesome....I reduced the salt to 2 teaspoons and added an extra teaspoon of garlic. I served it over baked potatoes and toped it with freshly shredded parmesan cheese. Thank you for posting. mle

  4. We thought this dish was pretty good and the kids loved it. I used boneless chicken breast since i misread the package. This gets four stars for quick and easy. I served it with bowtie pasta as suggested in Parsley's review.

  5. Incredible! The chicken is so juicy and flavorful and it browns prefectly. The sauce is so thick and creamy. This was so easy to make. I cut hethe heavy cream down to 1 cup. I served this over noodles. Thanx for posting this; it's a real keeper!

Tweaks

  1. Great recipe. However, it's way to hot right now in CA to use my oven so I cooked this in my Air Fryer Grill. Wow - did it ever come out great. I baked it at 350 degrees for 18 minutes; turned it and baked it for another 12 for a total of 30. Used an instant read thermometer and removed it when juices ran clear and the chicken was 165 degrees. So very moist and tender. I thickened the gravy after I removed the chicken and served all over butter and garlic rice. Yum!!! Thank you so much for posting this recipe.

  2. I USED WHITE BEANS INSTEAD OF NOODLES...EXCELLENT!

  3. Great recipe! Very easy to make. The sauce was outstanding. Instead of water I used unsalted chicken stock and I used the leftover dredging flourand extra stock to thicken the sauce. I cut the cooking time because I used only chicken breasts. I served it with egg noodles. The sauce was terrific on them. When I make this again I think I'll use boneless chicken breasts just to make it easier.

  4. This was very good, not bland at all. Added fresh mushrooms and lots of fresh ground pepper. Used the excess flour from dredging since it was already seasoned to thicken chicken broth instead of water. The cream is what makes this so do not skimp.

  5. This recipe was really very good but as previously noted, the gravy was rather thin so I added a flour slurry to thicken it a bit after it came out of the oven. Instead of 1-1/2 cups of water, I used 1/2 cup chicken broth and 1 cup flour to add more flavor to the gravy and I threw in a good handful of frozen peas. The cook time was spot on. An excellent dinner with egg noodles but quite rich.
